Henderson Park has over 6 miles of hiking trails including paved sections and a 1.75-mile loop around Lake Erin. Along the way you’ll discover birds, wildlife and native plants and trees.
Difficulty level: Easy to Moderate. There are a few challenging hills, but alternate trails to avoid them as well. The paved path on the Henderson Road side of the park is roughly ½ mile of easy walking but good exercise. The blue, red and white trails are 1 – 2 miles long on unpaved paths.
Terrain: Unpaved wooded trails with roots and rocks, small creek crossings and a few bridges and boardwalks.
Dogs and their owners are welcome in Henderson Park. Dogs must be “under restraint and control at all times.” Please use the pet waste stations on the white trail and clean up after your pet.
